The South-East Asia and China IPR SME Helpdesk organised an online training addressing the impact of the pandemic on brand protection and IP in China and SEA. The webinar was given by the IP expert Simon Cheetham and covered the shift towards online markets and the resulting increase in counterfeited products, as well as other IP developments resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The China IPR SME Helpdesk, in collaboration with the Flanders-China Chamber of Commerce (FCCC) organized a webinar on IP practices for R&D in China. The webinar was presented by IP Business Advisor Matias Zubimendi, who gave insights into R&D activites in China from an IP perspective. The topics addressed were the development of a R&D strategy in China, the ownership of IP, and the management and protection of licenses.

The China and South-East Asia IPR SME Helpdesks organised a webinar on the protection of Intellectual Property in cooperation with the Centro Estero Internazionalizzazione of the Piemonte Region in Italy. The IP Expert Elio De Tullio gave practical advice to SMEs interested in exporting in these regions, with a specific focus on the steps to be taken to effectively protect your IP abroad.
In cooperation with the agency 'Hauts de France Innovation Developpement', the China IPR SME Helpdesk has organised a webinar on the protection of Intellectual Property Rights in China. The workshop addresses the the specificities of Chinese IP Law when it comes to patents, model agreements, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, technology transfer, research partnerships, as well as the steps to build a relevant strategy to protect IPRs in China.
