Your brand and design solutions set your business apart from your competitors and enable you to build a lasting relationship with your customers. Thus, it is important to protect your brand and design to increase customers’ confidence in your company when entering China’s market. Successful brand and design protection, however, requires a comprehensive strategy, including registering your IP such as trade marks and design patents, monitoring the market and taking action when spotting infringements.
The Investment and Development Agency of Latvia and the China IPR SME Helpdesk jointly organise a webinar on Brand and Design Protection in China.
During the webinar, Mr. Matias Zubimendi, the IP Business Advisor at China IPR SME Helpdesk, will provide an overview of IP protection relating to SMEs’ brand and product design, focusing on trade marks, copyrights and design paten protection while also presenting an overview of general IP landscape in China. Mr. Zubimendi will further explain how to deal with brand-related IP disputes, providing practical advice on IP commercialisation and enforcement strategies for trade mark and design rights.
The webinar concludes in a Q&A session, where SMEs are given the opportunity to raise questions and further discuss with the speaker.
