All Star Webinar: IP Management and Digitalisation

Event details

Event type : Webinar

Date: 8 July 2020 / 10am (CEST)

Event description

Modern IP management is the key success factor to create and protect new business models in the digitalisation. IP offers SMEs the opportunity to assert themselves in digitally transforming business ecosystems, to secure profitable position and create added value with innovations.

This webinar is a cooperation between the European IP Helpdesk, CEIPI, the International IPR SME Helpdesks (SEA/CHINA/LA) and the EU-Japan Technology Transfer Helpdesk. As all six partners share the same mission: support European Union (EU) small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) to both protect and enforce their Intellectual Property rights in or relating to the relevant geographical areas. The China IPR SME Helpdesk Business Advisor, Matias Zubimendi, will attend the live session and provide more details on the IP specificities of the Chinese market through case studies and best practices.

The session will also address the role of IP in business models, especially digital business models, with examples like the use of digital patents. It targets IP and innovation professionals in medium-sized technological companies, law firms and IP offices, who want to better understand the use of IP in business contexts and the influence of digitalisation.
