08 August Webinar – Arbitration in IP Matters in China and South-East Asia

The webinar will provide practical advice for European SMEs who are experiencing IP infringements either or both in China and South-East Asia and wish to use arbitration as a form of IP litigation. Our IPR SME Helpdesk IPR expert Mr. Philippe Girard-Foley will give an overview of what SMEs should know about arbitration in IP matters in China and South-East Asia. The expert will explain how the arbitration procedure works and how SMEs can use the arbitration in the region to resolve their IPR infringement issues. The IPR Expert will use several case-studies in order to illustrate the arbitration procedure and its benefits to the SMEs.

During the webinar you can expect: what are the benefits of arbitration in IP matters over traditional court litigation;  what are the arbitration procedures, how does the whole process work and how to choose the arbitral tribunal; tips and watch-outs to keep in mind, when choosing an arbitration over traditional court litigation in China and South-East Asia; real-life examples of European SMEs using the arbitration procedure to solve IP infringement cases.

Due to technical issues, the webinar recording is not available. Our apologies.
